Communion
we come to public events and set up a booth as a simple presence in the community. If jesus would be there, we bring the table!
open table means that all who ask for communion receive it. We offer wafer and wine or gluten-free and alcohol-free so that nothing about being human stands in the way of receiving the lord's supper.
Meals
We have hosted food trucks owned and operated by non-dominate cultures, sometimes with pre-paid meals for students or others unable to pay.
when we can, we have conversation around a social justice issue, then have a meal together, sometimes incorporating worship.
